Answer Question
My holding tanks have a two inch "lip" around three sides under which a steel beam supports each tank. On the
fourth side the tank is flat from top to bottom. This would be the only side a SeeLevel sender could be attached. However, the space between the fourth side of the tank and a frame steel I-beam is only about an inch. The I-beam is the same height as the tank. The instructions indicate the sender should be no closer than 2" (i.e., "Any metal such as steel, aluminum, copper, or brass can affect the sender reading if it is closer than about 2” from the face of the sender. If there are metal frame pieces, brackets, straps, pipes, ducts, etc. close to the sender you may have to move the sender away from them.") Is there some sort of "fix" or "mitigation" for this, such as "stuffing" some sort of dense non-metallic material between the sender and the I-beam. Any suggestions?
