I just recently installed this kit on a 2011 Wrangler and there are no diodes to limit feedback. I have not found any issues with this during a 3,000 mile trip. We are checking with the manufacturer on this, since they do claim their kist do have integrated diodes. We will update this answer when we here back from them.
