A 6 AWG marine battery cable, like the Ancor 112002, is ideal for moderate power applications and shorter cable runs. It provides a good balance of current capacity and flexibility for connecting batteries to panels, inverters, and accessories.
For higher power or longer distances, a thicker cable (like 4 AWG or 2 AWG) may be needed to reduce voltage drop.
