This is probably the most involved part of installing the RVIbrake and although a little time consuming, not difficult. You will need to attach the brake away switch to the baseplate (also known as the tow bracket) or on the front bumper of the vehicle. There is a electrical wire with a plug, this is then fed through the engine compartment (avoiding moving parts and high heat areas) and then fed through the firewall to the drivers compartment. Most vehicles have a rubber plug in the firewall to feed wires from accessories such as this, easily. You will want to run it to the left side of the foot well for easy access when towing.
