The High "H" heat setting does not work.
Furrion FF40SW15A-BL Recessed Electric Fireplace With Logs, 40''
RV Interior Accessories
I have a Furrion, FF40SC15A-BL. The High heat setting just stopped working. But the heat does still work. So whether it's on "H" or "L", the unit always outputs 750Watts (Low). All other functions work fine. The unit is 5 years old. FYI, in cold weather we use the fireplace on "H" setting all the time. So it gets a lot of use. Would the heating element wear out? Or perhaps the control board?

I believe this issue is why Furrion has discontinued most of its fireplaces. The most common cause is the “High” power path on the control board failed. High heat is typically switched by a relay on the main board (or a triac). With heavy use on High for years, relay contacts can pit/burn and stop carrying current. Unfortunately, there are no repair parts available from the factory for this fireplace.
