Yes, you can run them in the same line, and it’s common. The key is the order.
Pedestal (shore power) → Hughes Autoformer RV220-50-SP → Southwire Surge Guard 35550 → RV transfer switch / distribution panel.
Unfortunately, Hughes no longer makes the autoformers, but if you currently have one now or can find one on the used market your good to go.

Question: Does this have the auto off / on feature for the surge protector like the stand alone Hughes surge protector??
Answer: The Autoformer RV220-50 does not have the auto shut off feature that the Power Watchdog EPO has. Just standard surge/spike protection.
