How many amps does this pump take at 0.5 GPM? Does it cycle ON and OFF at such a low rate? Remco Aquajet Variable Speed 5.3 GPM RV Water Pump, 24V DC, 65 PSI RV Water Pumps Fittings
90% of the time the pump will provide water to a very small sink in a horse trailer. This is to conserve water and power. I would like to buy a variable speed pump that never cycles. Instead it should quietly runs slower and slower all the way to 0 GPM. My current pump cycles ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF multiple times per second. Very annoying, loud and causes all the lights to flicker. The bypass pumps take full current all the time the it's running. This will use up my battery. If I am drawing a tiny amount of water, the pump should take a tiny amount of current (AMPs).
