This light is not ideal for boat trailers.
The Peterson V428S is an incandescent, stud-mount stop/turn/tail light. It’s not submersible / sealed, so repeated dunking at a boat ramp will let water into the housing and shorten its life (corrosion, blown bulbs). You want lights specifically marked “submersible” (fully sealed) for boat trailers. Unfortunately, we do not offer a submersible version of this light at this time.
