There’s no new Alexa-saving firmware for the Amped Wireless AWP48W Single Wireless Smart Plug. Amped’s product page lists “firmware upgrades,” but none address Matter support or resolve Alexa’s November changes. If Alexa says support ends then, that’s due to Amazon’s broader skill retirements, once the cloud skill goes, Alexa voice control stops, even though you can still use the plug via Amped’s app. Unfortunately, no update currently restores Alexa compatibility for this model.
