With this door holder being designed with a 45-degree angle to prop the door open. The longer length can be installed either vertically or horizontally; the most important factor is that the two components align properly when the door is held open. The flexible mounting orientation allows for customization based on the design of the RV and the preferred angle for holding the door.
To install, you screw the T-shaped handle part to the frame of the RV's entry door and the corresponding base plate to the side of the trailer. Once installed, the T-handle latches into the base plate to securely hold the door open.
