Fully extend the awning by flipping the cam lock to the "extend" position and pulling the arms outward. Remove the old strap by sliding it down the channel in the roller tube. Insert the poly cord end of the new strap into the same channel, ensuring it is centered in the roller tube. Retract the awning slowly, holding the strap to prevent the awning from closing too quickly.
