This does not have a fixed water usage per flush, unlike typical residential toilets. Instead, the amount of water used depends on how long you press the flush pedal-holding it longer increases water flow. This design lets you manage water consumption, which is especially helpful when dry camping and relying on your RV’s freshwater tank. According to Thetford’s manual, a 3/8-inch inside diameter water supply line with a minimum flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute is required for proper operation.
