There has been a fundamental change in the system's design. The updated control box is now engineered to interface exclusively with a wall-mounted thermostat, rather than the traditional manual knobs. The previous design featured control knobs that were directly integrated into the circuit board within the ceiling assembly, allowing users to send commands to the power relays by turning the knobs. In contrast, the new control box acts as a relay board that only receives low-voltage signals from a separate wall thermostat, meaning it no longer accepts input from manual knobs and all user control is managed remotely.
