There are two main reasons why your screen display might be blank, signaling a loss of power. First, the RV’s electrical supply may be interrupted or compromised. Second, there could be a communication or wiring issue between the EMS main unit and the remote LCD display. The EMS-LCHW50 is specifically engineered to protect your RV by completely shutting off power when it detects dangerous conditions, such as voltage spikes or wiring faults. In such cases, the LCD will remain blank, and no electricity will reach your RV—a built-in safety feature rather than a product malfunction. Alternatively, if the connection between the EMS unit and the display is faulty, the screen will be blank even if the RV itself is still receiving power. Always check both the electrical supply and the display connection when troubleshooting.
