Yes, the Blue Ox Base Plate BX1689 will work with the Blue Ox Aventa LX tow bar. Actaully, all of the Blue Ox Base Plates will work with the Aventa LX.

I have a Blue Ox Aventa LX tow bar. I am wanting to know if that tow bar will work with the Blue Ox BX1689A for a 2013 Chevy Equinox?
