Jumpering 4 & 5 won't overload the generator; it merely ties both hot lugs to the same 120V output. The generator still only produces 7,500 watts at 120V, offering no advantages in this setup.
My generator has three wires Esco LPT50BRD LYGHT 50 Amp 120/240v Relay Base Transfer Switch RV Automatic Transfer Switches
My generator is an Oanan 7500, 2002 model with three wires. 1 White Ground, 1 Black Hot, and one green netural. If I jumper #4&5 does this overload my generator, or does it just split the 120 into both hot lead spots.
