My tiffin has a surge guard 41260. It needs replacing. The 41261 says it favors the generator when both generator and shore power are available. I don’t want the generator coming on unless there is a shore power failure. Is the 41261 what I need?

The Southwire Surge Guard 41261 is the newer replacement model for the 41260. While the 41260 offers basic protection against faulty park power, including open neutral and reverse polarity, the 41261 adds surge protection and a time delay at power up. The 41261 provides enhanced features such as surge protection and time delay, making it a more comprehensive solution for safeguarding your RV's electrical system alongside reliable power transfer capabilities.
