Why does my Valterra E1003VP electric waste valve trip its circuit breaker when I try to drain the black tank?
When I press the "Open" side of the rocker switch I hear the valve trry to open for a second but after about 3-5 seconds the internal circuit breaker trips. When I reset it and try the switch again, the process repeats.

The issue could be due to corrosion on the shaft, where applying penetrating oil might help in freeing it up. Alternatively, there might be an obstruction wedged between the blade and housing. It's most likely necessary to remove the connecting pipe and investigate further.
