The manufacturer recommends mounting the unit any way other than flat where the label is facing the sky. Vertically or horizontally or upside down (label facing the earth) is advised.
LOL Q&A says it has to be mounted as shown in the template - but product picture shows it vertical. Surge Guard 40100-001 Basic 50 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch RV Automatic Transfer Switches
So, which is it? Horizontal or Vertical or either.
