Correct the sensor only reads as much of the side of the tank it covers. ( Per Garnet)
Irregularly shaped tanks the sensor measures the height of fluid in the tank, not percentage of capacity, right? Garnet 709 SeeLevel II Tank Monitoring System RV Tank Monitor System
If a tank is wider at the top than the bottom, the volume of fluid in the tank is not proportional to the height of the tank.
Extreme example: Tank is a 45 degree right angle tank, with the 90 degree angle mounted up. If the level of the tank is 1/2 the height, the volume of the water remaining is 1/4 the capacity. Does your system account for this?
