The boots slide right off of the nuts. The nuts are lock nuts so that’s why there are no lock washers. Tighten the nuts enough to engage the locking on the nut and slight compression of the shock bushings. SuperSteer

My mounting nuts are encased in a rounded bubber-like boot. How do I tighten them securely? Torque? And with no lock washer, how do they remain secure?
