When I use my generator or plug into a 50A outlet, my 41261 works great. But when I plug into my 30A outlet I had installed years ago, my 41261 doesn't switch. I tested the outlet and is has 120V power. Does the 41261 work with 30A?

The 30 amp service or adapter may be running the opposite leg on the transfer switch. On Our product the T57 Leg 1 has to be operational or have power to activate the relays. With a 30 amp adapter only one side of the distribution panel will work usually, but to make the transfer switch work line 1 has to be active or see 120 volts to work.
