My furnace is turning on when I select electric heat, how do I solve that?
Micro-Air ASY-354-X01 EasyTouch RV 354 Touchscreen Thermostat With Bluetooth - Black
RV Air Conditioners
I replaced my thermostat with the Micro-Air, then recently I had all three Air Conditioners replaced (Coleman Mach 8 with Heat Pump). I am trying to run the heat pumps for the first time since the installation, and when I select Electric Heat on the Micro-Air, my gas furnace fires up. I'm not sure if I did something wrong with the install of the Thermostat, or if the Air Conditioner Installer did something wrong with their installation of the Air Conditioners.

This is common an many Coleman thermostats. They use furnace assist whenever the set point is 5 or more degrees above ambient. to turn off the feature, just turn off heat assist in the settings or switches menu (called switches in earlier firmware revisions)
