There is no torque spec – Instructions are as follows:
Turn the hex bolt located on the rear of the lift bracket until it contacts the trailer frame, then tighten ¼ turn with a wrench. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
When installing these brackets, what is the proper torque spec for tightening the bolt? Husky Towing 31260 Weight Distribution Hitch Chain Lift Brackets Weight Distributing Hitches
I am replacing a broken bracket so I'm installing the same location. I want to make sure I properly tighten the bolt to the frame with a torque wrench.
