When installing a v13414 into a 6802 tank does the cut line in the face go at the top? (Manchester Tank V13414 Propane Tank Fill Valve

The 6802 does not take the V13414, it takes a V20138. The tank will not fill correctly, if you install the V13414. ( Per Manchester Tank)
