Yes, you can run steel wheels on these.
Regarding the Lippert 814202 hub/drum, can you run steel wheels on these? Lippert 814202 12'' Brake Hub Assembly - 6 On 5.5'' Bolt Pattern, 1/2'' Stud - 6,000 Lbs Trailer Brake Parts
The Lippert 814202 hub design doesn't provide a continuous contact surface for a steel wheel, and I was wondering if in an RV application steel wheels are approved for use with this style of hub? Thank-you!
