The Backcheck prevents gas from leaking out of the regulator inlet.
Propane adapter 204120 with backcheck MB Sturgis 1/4'' Female Inverted Flare x 1/4'' Male NPT Propane Adapter Fitting propane tank adapters
A friend recommended I use your propane adapter 204120 with backcheck on both propane SS lines I have going from 20 lb propane tanks into a T upstream of the regulator. What purpose do the backchecks in the adapters serve? Thanks.
