Check the voltage coming from the tstat to the compressor leads and also try jumping the freeze switch. per Coleman-Mach and Maxxair, Brands of Airxcel
How do you the Jbox went bad or if the thermostat is the problem? Jumping the relay starts the compressor. Coleman Mach 8330C5081 Cool-Only 8-Series Replacement Zone Control Box
Fans work but new a/c compressor does not cycle (but A/C works fine with test unit). J box is an 8330A751. If I jump the relay the compressor comes on. Not sure if j-box is bad or if thermostat is not sending the signal to the circuit board to tell it to switch the relay on or if the circuit board in the J box is bad. We did try replacing the relay itself with no change.
