The solar panel has four grommets, one in each corner. There are many ways a user can mount it; tie wrap, suction cups, laying it on the dash board, etc. A customer may call our tech support department at 1-800-379-5779x6 M-F 9-5 ET. with any questions Once the battery is fully charged the charger will go into maintenance / float mode. ( Per VDC)
