The design of the Hercules is very simple. With this being said, the T - Handle would be the first thing to check to see if it has bent at all.
One of the arms has trouble locking. I'm not sure why but it always fights me when hooking it up. I have Demco base NSA 10002C Hercules RV Tow Bar With ReadyBrake - 12,000 Lbs - Charcoal blue ox towbars
