New water heater installed and won’t get hot now
Suburban IW60 Nautilus Tankless On-Demand RV Water Heater
RV Water Heaters
Had a new on demand water heater installed professionally. Was able to use with success for one day. The next day it would not get hot then later would get warm and then go cold and then warm and then cold but not consistently hot. We aren’t sure how to troubleshoot. Ideas? Is there a certain water pressure it should be? What else can we check?

The Suburban IW60 will be able to keep up with 1.5 GPM and achieve satisfying thermostat temperatures. Meaning the more water is sent through the lower the temperature of the water will be due to less time spent within the combustion chamber to absorb the heat. They can check the GPM coming out of the shower as well as have an RV service tech check the gas pressure. This is very important to have proper gas pressure for the IW60 since it’s a large consumer of LP. Suburban would suggest 12.5 IWC to the IW60. Most likely this will need to be properly diagnosed by an RV service center.( Per Suburban, An Airxcel Brand)
