With an Electronic Waste Valve it only takes two (2) seconds to Open or Close the Valve. It’s has simple as Pressing a Button to operate the Valve. Just like turning on the light when you enter a room. When the Valve is Open, the Light on the Switch will turn on to indicate that the Valve is Open. When you close the Valve, the light will then turn off, to indicate that the Valve is Closed, and you can safely disconnect your Sewer Hose to travel to your next location. There is also a Manual Override on both sides of the Valve as well. So, if for some reason your battery is dead or too weak to operate the Valve (a light left on during the day while gone), you can Operate your Valve Manually by using the Allen Wrench provided for you on the Valve. Just make sure to have a flashlight so that you can see the directional arrows on the Valve. This will tell you which way to turn the Allen Wrench to get the Valve Open vs. Closed. The directional arrows are different on both sides Valve, so please make sure you follow the direction of the arrows for that side of the Valve you’re working with. Also with an Electronic Waste Valve you don’t have to worry about the arm of the T-Handle Manual Valve breaking or bending you when you’re in the process of Opening or Closing the Valve. The “T” part of the handle itself breaks particularly off or all the way off when operating the Valve as well. Without this, you can’t operate the Valve. For a Cable Pull Valve, the Cable starts to stretch out, not allowing the Valve to close all the way closed. Thus always having residue in the piping when you remove the Cap on the Outlet to hook up your Sewer Hose. ( Per Drain Master )
