It will depend on the year of the step. if step is built previous to 2006 you will need an upgrade kit for Kwikee steps ( Per Lippert)
If the module is bad--do I need the motor gearbox upgrade or just the module? Lippert 47-0034 Entry Step Control Module kwikee
