1. If the SnapPads were installed on feet that were bent, distorted or not in the original intended state. This can affect fitment and cause the SnapPad to either not install fully, or affect long-term fitment.
2. If the installation was not fully completed. The lip of the pad must install fully over the entire edge of the foot. Thius can be checked by visually inspecting to ensure the edge is covered by the lip.
3. If there is a clearance issue with a bean, bar, bolt, tire, or other undercarriage component that was not spotted prior to installing the pads. These areas can force the SnapPad off of the foot. Prior to installing, we recommend retracting the jacks fully, setting the rig into Travel-Mode; if applicable, and measuring out from the outside edge and the top edge of the foot to anything surrounding it to ensure you have at least 2" of clearance from the side of the foot and 3/4" of clearance on top.
4. If the landing feet are set low, there may be ground clearance issues causing pad loss. This is when the feet bottom out on areas like speedbumps, curbs, or potholes, or if the feet encounter issues like road debris or a tire blowout. Thesde culprits can exert enough force to take the pad off of the foot. If is always a good idea to be aware of the ground clearance the rig has, and the speed at which navigating over the above ground surfaces. We do not recommend attaching the pads to the feet with bolts, ties, or anything else, as, if the foot does happen to bottom out, or if road debris or a tire blowout occur, the SnapPad will absorb that impact, saving the jack from damage.
