The MEGR 295H will replace a 295 with no problems. But the 295, because of its lower capacity, should not be used to replace a 295H that was installed as original equipment.

Are the 295H and 295 models interchangeable for use in a Class B RV van for cooktop and heater usage? I was using 295 but they are no longer available anywhere. The 295H appears to match all specs other than max BTU output, is that an issue as a replacement for the 295?
