Furnace runs, but when it cuts off it won't restart unless I turn the control to the off position then back on .

According to my technicians, check voltage between blue and white wire at the thermostat. If you don’t have voltage you’ve got a bad tstat, if you do have voltage then you either have an issue with the furnace or a bad or broken wire.
