If the grey or black indicator button is selected twice a red dot appears next to the LED readout. What is that?

The red dot next to the level reading means the display has been put into hold mode. Instead of the level reading going off after 5 seconds the display will show it for 5 minutes. This is mostly used when the tanks are being emptied or filled so you can watch the level change.
