Yes, the 8330-3362 would work the same as the 9430-338, unless you are using the room sensor option. Then it will not work.
Can I use this 3362 to replace a Airxcel 9430-3382? Does it have the 8 wire input ports? Airxcel tech suggested it. Coleman Mach 8330-3362 Digital Heat/Cool RV Thermostat - White RV Air Conditioners
I have a: 12v heat/cool airxcel thermo with the p/n 887841 9430-338 printed on the back. A tech at airxcel suggested I could use 8330-3362. Since I can't see the back of the unit to make sure the wiring scheme matches mine, I am trying to make sure it will work. I need to replace my unit with something I can read when trying to adjust the modes. Currently the display is very unreadable except when Not trying to adjust.
