Oh 2 of instructions say to disconnect jack from battery if not in use for a few days to avoid discharging the battery . That’s every camping trip and while parked in driveway! Sounds like huge bother to keep unhooking it from battery?! Never did this with any other jack. Does this one draw off battery differently some how?

On the remote units (Husky Towing 82022) , the circuit board has a small light that shows the jack is "communicating" with the remotes, so there is a small power draw. If the jack is not being used for multiple days it can start to drain the battery. If the battery does not have the proper voltage, the jack will not operate correctly. Therefore, if the trailer is sitting for a few days, we recommend disconnecting the power wire.
