Yes, both fan wheels will need to be removed as they are both driven by the same motor. Once you get the cover off of the squirrel cage, there will be a set screw (hex bit) to loosen from the motor. This will be the case for both wheels. The motor has a screw at the top of the bracket, this screw will allow the fan motor to be removed!
