The Surge Guard 40250-RVC Automatic RV Transfer Switch's fuse will blow when it sees high voltage during a lightening surge kind of voltage excursion. If you have the Remote Display Panel, it will say Replace Surge in the LCD Screen. If no display panel, you will have to inspect the circuit board inside the device and you will see a blown fuse.
