Any compromise potential w/VH55 RO?

Will this extender compromise use of a VH55 RO with 176 lb scooter while using pass-thru hitch to haul 2200 lb boat/motor/trailer? Thx

The Versa-Haul VH-HE3 Class III Hitch Extender - 8" is not recommended. Applications like this create another weak point and usually reduce ratings by about half. If possible we suggest buying a linger main tube instead of using extenders . We have a 30" main tube that would be better and it retains the ability to tow. (VH-0205)
