Marshall Excelsior uses the same bulk hose for all of their hose assemblies, so the hose itself is rated to 350 PSIG max working pressure. However, the male quick disconnect hose end is a type 250 low pressure connection, and that type of connection is only rated to 1/2 PSIG max. Because of that, the ME65CL kit can only be used with regulated pressure (normally 11”WC, 14”WC max). The intention is to tap into the quick disconnect port on an RV, which would normally be low pressure (11”WC) from the downstream side of the regulator. The regulator is removed from the grill, and the low pressure is fed directly to the burner.
