Question: Can you hook it up to a permanent water supply
Answer: No, you have to physically change the water in the reservoir every 24 hours to ensure a reasonable hygiene level. If the unit isn't being used , drain all the water and dry the tank.
Question: How do you fill it with water
Answer: There is a water reservoir when you open the top cover of the ice maker.
Question: how to drain it?
Answer: There should be a drain plug on the front bottom side of the ice maker. Unplug the drain and let the remaining water empty out.
