The display is not water resistant. It can take some splash but consistently getting it wet can cause corrosion on the board and it can go bad.
If install a remote monitor in the water management compartment is this unit water resistant in case of a splash Garnet 709-4 SeeLevel II Monitor Only RV Electronics
