The difference or advantage to the bolt-on vs. weld-on would be up to the installer. Some don't have or are comfortable with welding brackets to the vehicle frame. Welding is faster in Bigfoot's opinion, as their shop does installations all day long. Both are equally as strong and reliable pending that they are installed correctly.
