Yes they can be mounted and exposed. Most of our customers put an undercoating on them if they are going to be exposed to the elements. We recommend a rubberized undercoating made by 3M for the undercoating.

The Garnet 710SS SeeLevel II Sensor Board is a flexible self adhesive printed circuit board which is mounted to the outside of the holding tanks. The sender can be cut to length to match the height of the tank. Tanks over 17 inches may be double stacked.
