Use a 5 amp fuse on the red wire of each device.

Question: Is an inline fuse used or just a 5amp fuse in the DC box? Also what gauge of wire should connect to it? 15ft run.
Answer: A fuse is not supplied with the unit. A 5A fuse is correct. 18 gauge min wire for 15ft. I would suggest 16 gauge for best charging.
