The amp draw will vary for may reasons during travel but, as long as it is working correctly you should be fine. If it stops sliding out properly it could have a problem.
when extending slide and my motor is only pulling 28 amps, is that bad? i believe i have a bad motor BAL RV P22327 Accu-Slide Out Motor Electrical
