I'm gathering the auxiliary battery is mounted under the hood for this application?

The SBI12KIT will work fine for an auxiliary battery charging kit however the cabling and fuses within this kit aren’t suitable for jumpstarting applications.

The SBI12 will also work with the Silverado alternator however will still be limited by the alternators ability to recharge a discharged auxiliary battery.
